Cookie Policy
Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Yuvo uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit www.yuvo-travel.com, other Yuvo websites, and other online services that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Online Services”).
This Policy supplements our Privacy Policy. For matters concerning the processing of Personal Data that are not specifically addressed in this Cookie Policy, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small data files that websites may store on your browser or device. They can allow a website to recognise a device, remember preferences, maintain a session, measure how a website is used, or support advertising and other functionality.
We may also use technologies that operate differently from traditional cookies but perform similar functions. Depending on the Online Service and the technologies deployed, these may include pixels or web beacons, tags and scripts, software development kits (SDKs), local or web storage, device or browser identifiers, and similar technologies.
In this Policy, we refer to all of these collectively as “cookies and similar technologies.”
Cookies may be:
session cookies, which ordinarily expire when you close your browser; or
persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a specified period unless they are deleted earlier.
They may also be:
first-party cookies, which are stored under the domain you are visiting; or
third-party cookies, which are stored or accessed by another organisation or domain.
A technology may also involve a third-party provider even where the cookie itself is technically placed on Yuvo’s first-party domain.
Why we use cookies and similar technologies
Depending on the Online Service and your choices, we may use cookies and similar technologies to:
operate and secure the Online Services;
remember privacy choices, sessions and other settings;
detect errors, misuse or security threats;
understand how visitors use the Online Services;
measure traffic and performance and improve our Online Services;
measure the effectiveness of our communications and advertising;
understand interactions with Yuvo advertisements or content;
create or select advertising audiences;
provide or measure personalised or interest-based advertising; and
support other purposes described in this Policy and our Privacy Policy.
When these technologies process Personal Data, that data may include online identifiers, IP addresses, browser and device information, pages or URLs visited, referring URLs, timestamps, interactions with pages or content, campaign or conversion information, cookie or advertising identifiers, and information inferred from interactions with our Online Services or advertising.
Further information about how Yuvo processes Personal Data for analytics, advertising, personalisation and marketing is available in our Privacy Policy.
Consent and other privacy choices
Depending on applicable law, certain cookies and similar technologies may require your consent before they are used. Where consent is required, we will ask for it through our consent mechanism before using the relevant technologies.
Cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the operation, security or functionality of our Online Services may be used without consent where permitted by applicable law.
You can manage your choices, including changing or withdrawing your consent where applicable, at any time through Cookie Settings.
Categories of cookies and similar technologies
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These technologies are used to provide functions that are necessary for the operation, security or delivery of an Online Service you request.
They may include technologies needed to maintain security, manage website traffic, maintain a session, process a request or remember your privacy choices.
Where these technologies qualify for an applicable legal exception, they may be active without your consent. They may still appear in Cookie Settings for transparency but may not be capable of being disabled through our consent manager where doing so would prevent the relevant necessary function.
You may be able to block these technologies through your browser, although parts of the Online Services may then not work correctly.
Analytics Cookies
Analytics technologies help us understand how the Online Services are used, for example by measuring visits, traffic sources, interactions, navigation patterns, errors or performance.
We use this information to evaluate and improve our Online Services and user experience.
Information generated through Analytics technologies may include device, browser and network information, online identifiers and information about how you interact with the Online Services.
Where required by applicable law, we use these technologies only after you have consented to the Analytics category.
Marketing and Personalisation Cookies
Marketing and Personalisation technologies may be used to understand interactions with our campaigns, measure advertising performance, create or select audiences, limit or measure advertising, or provide more relevant or personalised advertising or content.
These technologies may allow Yuvo and advertising or social media partners to recognise a browser or device and understand interactions across websites, services or advertisements.
Depending on the provider and configuration, information collected through these technologies may be combined with information already held by the relevant provider in accordance with its own privacy practices.
Where required by applicable law, we use Marketing and Personalisation technologies only after you have consented to this category.
Cookie and technology list
The specific cookies and similar technologies used on an Online Service may change as our Services, websites and technology providers change.
The list below provides information about the technologies currently used, including their provider, purpose, category and duration.
The duration shown for a cookie indicates how long the cookie is designed to remain on your device. The actual duration may be shorter because of browser or device settings, deletion by you, or changes made by Yuvo or the relevant provider.
Third-party providers and advertising partners
We may use technologies provided by third parties to support analytics, advertising, campaign measurement, audience creation, personalisation and other functions described in this Policy.
As described in our Privacy Policy, these providers may include analytics providers, advertising platforms, social media platforms and other technology providers.
We currently use Google services in connection with providing, measuring, promoting and improving our Services, including, where enabled, in connection with personalised advertising.
The relevant providers and technologies actually used on the Online Services are identified in the Cookie List above.
Some third parties may process information collected through their technologies for their own purposes in accordance with their applicable privacy notices and terms.
Your choices and Cookie Settings
Where required by applicable law, our cookie consent mechanism allows you to choose whether non-essential cookies and similar technologies may be used.
Depending on the options available to you, you may:
accept all non-essential cookies and similar technologies;
reject non-essential cookies and similar technologies; or
select which categories of non-essential technologies you wish to allow.
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time through the persistent Cookie Settings option available on the Online Services.
Changing or withdrawing your choice will prevent Yuvo from using the affected technologies for future activity on that browser or device to the extent technically and legally applicable.
Where feasible, we also stop further use of affected Yuvo-controlled identifiers and remove Yuvo-controlled cookies that are no longer required. Cookies previously placed by a third party may in some circumstances need to be deleted through your browser or the relevant provider’s controls.
You may also control or delete cookies through your browser or device settings. Browser controls operate independently from Yuvo’s Cookie Settings and may affect the availability or operation of parts of the Online Services.
U.S. privacy choices
Depending on the U.S. state in which you reside and applicable law, disclosures involving advertising or similar technologies may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising or processing for “targeted advertising,” even where no money is exchanged for the Personal Information.
Where applicable law provides such a right, you may opt out of these activities through our Cookie Settings or another privacy preference mechanism made available on the Online Services.
Where required by applicable law, we also recognise qualifying browser-based universal opt-out mechanisms or opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC).
A browser-based preference generally applies to the browser or device from which the signal is sent. You may therefore need to enable the signal or make your privacy choices separately on other browsers or devices.
Further information about U.S. privacy rights, including sale, sharing and targeted advertising, is available in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use, our providers or Services, applicable law, or other relevant circumstances.
Where required by applicable law, or where a change materially affects an existing consent, we will provide appropriate notice or request a new consent.
The Last updated date above indicates when this Policy was most recently revised.
